ALDI RETURNS ICONIC EASTER DESSERTS RANGE INCLUDING HOT CROSS BUN PUDDING AND OOZY EGG TRIFLE

Aldi has revealed its Easter Desserts range – and it’s sure to have fans absolutely egg-static. Not only will much-loved shopper favourites, Hot Cross Bun Pudding and Oozy Egg Trifle be returning to stores, but Aldi is also adding a brand-new sweet treat to its Easter repertoire – the delicious Oozy Egg Cones.

Made using Aldi’s award-winning Specially Selected Luxury Hot Cross Buns, the Specially Selected Hot Cross Bun Pudding (£3.99, 600g) is inspired by the classic British bread and butter pudding. It features layers of sweetly spiced Easter buns with Chilean flame raisins and has been baked in a lusciously creamy vanilla custard. Available 4^th March.

The Oozy Egg Trifle (£2.99, 550g) also makes an anticipated return this year. This delicious, quirky pud contains all the chocolatey goodness of a traditional chocolate trifle with a sweet Easter twist. Packed with layers of rich chocolate mousse, chocolate custard and smooth cream, the trifle is topped with a sweet oozy egg fondant. Available 6^th April.

Aldi has got ice cream fans covered with its brand-new Oozy Cone Ice Creams (£2.49, 5 x110g). Creamy vanilla ice cream topped with a gooey oozing fondant and chocolate buttons, these quirky treats are Easter in a cone. Available in stores now.

Shoppers who want a more traditional dessert can opt for Aldi’s new zingy Lemon Meringue Pie (£1.49, 458g) – the perfect centrepiece for that post Easter Sunday roast sweet craving! Available in stores 6^th April.
