Support Fairtrade Fortnight at school with Aldi
16 Feb 2017

Show your support for Fairtrade Fortnight on February 27th to March 12th with certified Fairtrade products from discount supermarket, Aldi .
To raise awareness of Fairtrade at grassroots level, schools around the UK will be encouraged to take part by hosting a Fairtrade-only break in the classroom, playground or staffroom, so whether its bananas, coffee or chocolate, Aldi has a wide selection of affordable Fairtrade products in store to perfectly complement every break.
Teachers can take a break from the classroom with Specially Selected Fairtrade Colombian Instant Coffee (£1.99, 100g) or Fairtrade Speciality Tea available in English Breakfast or Earl Grey (85p for 50 bags). The production of Aldi’s teas support communities across Africa to educate their children and receive medical advice.
Enjoy a natural energy boost in the morning with Aldi’s Organic Fairtrade Bananas (great price in store) which are available in stores nationwide all year round and with 100% of Aldi’s Fairtrade bananas sustainably sourced, they’re good for you and the environment!
Brighten up your classroom with the beautiful Fairtrade Roses Aldi has in store for only £3.00 a bunch. For every bouquet of Fairtrade roses bought at Aldi, a Fairtrade Premium is paid directly to benefit workers and their families.
For that break time special treat, indulge in Moser Roth Chocolate (£1.29, 125g) which is available in Ghanaian, Peruvian or Dominican Republic flavours.  The ethically sourced Fairtrade ingredients in these chocolate bars help to support sustainable livelihoods for local famers, so you can enjoy yourself without the guilt!
