Enjoy fresh fruity fragrances as Aldi launches new luxury scented candles
09 Mar 2017

  • Aldi launches luxury candle range that customers can wax lyrical about this Mother’s Day
  • At  £3.99 customers save astonishing 90% on £44  Jo Malone alternative
  • Available exclusively at Aldi from 16th March
Discount supermarket Aldi will be launching a collection of three beautifully fragranced, premium candles in time for Mother’s Day, available in stores across the country from 16th March. Comparable to Jo Malone, Aldi’s candles offer mums a truly luxury treat for a fraction of the price.
Created with Aldi’s expert perfumers, the Luxury Mother’s Day Candles are available in a choice of three scents: Pomegranate Noir, Freesia & Pear or Lime Basil & Mandarin and are encased in a contemporary glass jar design that would complement any interior. With a burn time of 48 hours, Aldi’s luxury candle priced at just £3.99 is 90% cheaper than Jo Malone’s at £44.*
Aldi’s three scents recreate perfume classics representing quality, sophistication and style allowing customers to lavish their loved ‘mums’ with high quality products without breaking the bank.
Tony Baines, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi, said: “With Mother’s Day being a time to indulge that special lady in your life, amazing quality needn’t cost a fortune.  We believe that everyone should be able to afford the very best for their mums, without the luxury price tag.”
John Davis at European Flavours & Fragrances [removed]EFF[removed], Aldi’s fragrance house, said: “Not only do Aldi’s premium candles equal the quality, strength and performance of high-end alternatives, but they are significantly larger than their premium counterparts meaning the fragrance is likely to be stronger, too.”
Customers better be quick, because once they’re gone, they’re gone.
