Eco-aware wines for under £8

This April, Aldi is launching an exclusive collection of ‘green’ wines. The eight strong range comprising of four organic, two carbon neutral and two ‘no added sulphur’ bottles means that shoppers can try great tasting, ecologically aware wines all at pocket-friendly prices.
 
ORGANIC WINES
Sales of organic food and drink have increased for a fifth consecutive year in the UK during 2016[1] and in response to demand, Aldi has launched four certified organic wines for its shoppers to enjoy.
 

Organic Prosecco DOC 2016, £7.99

Go organic with your prosecco choice this Easter with this fresh and elegant fizz from Aldi, which is made using organic cane sugar. Complex and fruity with notes of pear, green apple and honey notes, this is an ideal tipple to enjoy with friends.

CARBON NEUTRAL WINES
Aldi has launched a pair of 100% carbon neutral wines, produced in a way that eliminates any negative impact on the environment during every stage of the winemaking process. They have been produced by Wakefield, the family vineyard in Australia behind Aldi’s multi-award winning Exquisite Collection Clare Valley Riesling.
