· Be crowned this week’s Star Baker with Aldi’s delicious and easy to make cake mixes
With sales of baking equipment, ingredients, and recipe books up by 62%, it’s clear the British love to bake.
As the nation’s favourite baking show returns to screens, discount supermarket Aldi is helping customers make their signature bakes a little bit easier with Cake Mixes from only £1.89. Customers can now whip up a Country Carrot, Velvety Vanilla, Devils Food Chocolate or Red Velvet cake with ease, creating a show stopping dessert regardless of time or budget.
With a traditional chocolate cake containing a dozen ingredients costing up to £11.92,* and taking over 90 minutes to prepare and bake from scratch, Aldi’s cake mixes couldn’t be easier – just add 200ml water and 60ml vegetable oil and pop in the oven for 50 minutes.
After cooling, top with Frosting (£1.89)** and a scattering of either Hundreds & Thousands, Sugar Strands or Chocolate Jazzies (79p) and you’re ready to be this week’s star baker – it’s as simple as that.
