21 Sep 2017

·         From classic to adventurous the range comprises four fruit and vegetable variants
·         Each yogurt costs just 69p per 140g pot
Discount supermarket Aldi is adding autumn inspired fruit and vegetable yogurts to its luxurious  Specially Selected range, which will be available in stores nationwide from 27th September, for just 69p (140g).
The collection of four Specially Selected Farmhouse Yogurts, created exclusively for Aldi, have been produced by award-winning, Devonshire based Langage Farm.  The flavours, which range from classic to adventurous, sweet to savoury, offers something for everyone:
New this autumn:
  • Blood Orange and Cranberry –a rich blood orange flavour with delightful cranberry
  • Beetroot and Apple – an innovative combination of British beetroot and apple. The beetroot’s typical earthy flavour is nicely balanced with the sweetness of apple
Also in the range:
  • Raspberry – blended with raspberry pieces to create a beautiful fruity taste
  • Lemon Curd –a beautiful balance of creaminess and sharpness of lemon curd with its distinctive citrus flavour
Made with 100% British milk, the deliciously indulgent and creamy yogurts have a layer of compote and come packaged in a beautiful, re-useable, glass jar.
Paul Winterton from Langage Farm said: “We’re proud to use 100% British milk in our produce from our herd of over 250 Jersey and Guernsey cows who roam freely in the beautiful Devonshire countryside. We’re passionate about producing exceptional produce, with a local touch and can’t wait to hear what people think of the little pots of luxury.”
Julie Ashfield, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi said: “The Specially Selected Farmhouse Yogurts are our most luxurious yet. We’re proud to be supporting UK, family run businesses such as Langage Farm, to bring our customers the very best of British. At just 69p per yogurt, customers can afford to indulge, without breaking the bank.”
