As the UK’s taste for gin has reached new heights[i], including a demand for exciting new blends from across Europe, Brits are on the lookout for unique, luxury tipples to add to their drinks cabinet.
Usually found in high-end stores and more expensive supermarkets, Aldi is making premium gins more accessible to all by launching its biggest ever range in stores and online. The new gins sit alongside Aldi’s popular Oliver Cromwell London Dry Gin, which sees over 10,500 bottles sold daily.
With gins from Germany and France, to Northern Ireland and Britain, Aldi has worked with expert Sam Caporn MW to show the UK how to create the perfect serve for each tipple. *
From pairing on-trend herb-noted gins with rosemary and coriander, to accentuating fruitier, citrus-scented gins with pink grapefruit and oranges, there’s a serving suggestion to suit all tastes.
*All gins are served over ice with Aldi’s Ridge Valley Tonic Water (£1.79, 4 x 200ml)
