  • Aldi awarded the title of ‘Best Value Retailer’ at the Retail Week Awards 2018

Supermarket Aldi has been crowned Best Value Retailer at the prestigious Retail Week Awards, beating stiff competition from the likes of Lidl and The Works.
The awards, which have been running for 23 years, are a symbol of excellence within the retail sector and are judged by a panel of esteemed industry experts including Alan Giles, Associate Fellow at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
The title of ‘Best Value Retailer’ was given to Aldi in recognition of its longstanding commitment to delivering products of the highest quality at unbeatable prices, with the judges commenting: “This is absolutely what Aldi is and does; offering the customer value across all its dimensions. Not just pricing, but quality, too. They are a clear leader and innovator in this respect.”
This accolade adds to an already amazing start to the year for Aldi, having recently been named the nation’s Favourite Supermarket in the Which? Supermarket Satisfaction Survey. This follows Aldi’s success at the Moneywise Home Finance Awards in November 2017 where they were voted Britain’s Best Value Supermarket for the third year running.
