On Thursday 2nd August, supermarket Aldi will be selling its popular Specially Selected Wagyu Burgers, in stores across the UK for just £3.49!
Made with premium quality Wagyu beef from cattle bred and grass-fed on open New Zealand pastures, the burgers will be available in stores for a fraction of the price of high-end restaurants which can cost as much as £40 per 100g. 1
Taking their name from the famous Japanese Kobe Wagyu, which can sell for up to £500 a kilo in Japan,2 the meat is renowned for its distinctive marbling which melts while it cooks, making for a super succulent, tender, melt-in-the-mouth burger.
