ALDI LAUNCHES NEW MOCHI BALL FLAVOURS – 30% CHEAPER THAN LITTLE MOONS

  • Aldi is launching two new flavours of its sell-out Wao Mochi Balls from 14th March
  • The £3.49 desserts are 30% cheaper than the Little Moons equivalent
  • Aldi sold over 7.6 million of the internet sensation in 2021

Mochi fans rejoice! Aldi’s viral sensation Wao Mochi Balls are returning this spring after taking the internet by storm last summer, with two tasty new flavours added to the range.

After selling more than 7.6 million mochi balls last year, and searches for ‘Aldi Mochi’ increasing by 80% through May[1], Aldi has expanded its much-loved mochi range, now with five mouth-watering flavours – the largest offering of any UK supermarket.

For just £3.49, shoppers can get their hands on new Wao Cheesecake Mochi Balls, with a creamy vanilla ice cream filling wrapped around a sweet strawberry sauce centre, or Wao Caramel Mochi Balls that combine smooth caramel ice cream with a gooey sauce centre. Joining the fan favourite Coconut, as well as vegan flavours Mango and Tropical on shelves – these are the perfect refreshing treat for those with a sweet tooth!

What’s more, Aldi’s Wao Mochi Balls are a huge 30% cheaper than the Little Moons offering[1], meaning shoppers can get a delicious dessert whilst saving precious pennies!

Aldi’s Wao Mochi Balls are available to purchase in store or via Click & Collect from 14th March.
