ALDI SHOPPERS TO SAVE A WHOPPING 52% ON WORLD CHOCOLATE DAY
Aldi shoppers are in for a sweet treat this World Chocolate Day (7th July), as the supermarket’s range of Moser Roth bars are a delicious 52% cheaper compared to Swiss Chocolatier Lindt[1]. Aldi’s smooth, luxurious selection, starting from just £1.25, is available in five individually wrapped bars totalling 125g – 25g more chocolate than Lindt.
Aldi’s Moser Roth options include the zesty Orange & Almond Dark Chocolate (£1.25, 125g), the intense Moser Roth 85% Cocoa Chocolate (£1.49, 125g), refreshing Moser Roth Mint Dark Chocolate Bars (£1.25) and more.
Since 2009, choco-lovers around the world have celebrated the annual ‘World Chocolate Day’ to honour the anniversary of the introduction of chocolate to Europe back in 1550. Not only is it the perfect excuse to indulge, it’s also a great opportunity to try a wide variety of different types and flavours, like Aldi’s incredibly creamy Moser Roth Madagascan Vanilla Chocolate (£1.25, 125g) – white chocolate made with premium vanilla bean pods.
Those looking to branch out from the typical bar this World Chocolate Day can also opt for Aldi’s answer to Nutella for a decadent 50% less compared to Tesco’s offering[2]. The Nutoka Hazelnut Chocolate Spread (£1.15, 400g) not only comes in a bigger jar, but packs the same incredible nut and cocoa infused punch – spoons at the ready!
Shoppers can also cool down for less with Gianni’s Milk Chocolate Ice Creams (£1.19, 4x110ml) as the chocolate-coated delights come in at less than a third of the price of Magnum Classics at Sainsbury’s[3]. Even the humble Belmont Milk Chocolate Fingers (£0.89, 125g) beat Cadbury Chocolate Fingers – saving 61p.
