ALDI UNVEILS LUXURIOUS NEW YEAR’S EVE TREATS FROM AS LITTLE AS £1.99

Let the countdown for 2025 begin as Aldi is offering a range of mouthwatering party food and top tipples for New Year’s Eve celebrations from as little as £1.99, all available in stores now.

Kicking off with NEW products for New Year celebrations, Aldi has launched the quirky Specially Selected Breaded Chicken Doughnuts (£2.99, 330g) —a combination of batter, chicken, waffle sprinkles and a BBQ sauce that put a savoury spin on a classic sweet treat — and the Let’s Party Breaded Chicken Deltas (£2.99, 330g). Succulent British Chicken encased in a delicious crispy breadcrumb coating which has taken inspiration from Aldi’s popular delta crisps. 

Aldi’s Specially Selected Korean Chicken Sliders (£3.99, 320g) take the classic party slider to the next level. Crispy chicken is elevated with gochujang sauce, coated in a Korean-style breading and nestled in a mini sesame seed-topped bun, delivering a symphony of sweet, spicy, and savoury flavours in every bite. Also available inSpecially Selected Peri-Peri Chicken Sliders (£3.99, 320g).

For the perfect appetiser, shoppers can pick up Aldi’s Specially Selected Chicken Tikka Samosa (£3.99, 243g), cooked chicken and vegetables wrapped in a flaky pastry and topped with red chilli flakes with a sweet mango dip. Equally delicious, Aldi’s Specially Selected Chicken Katsu Spring Rolls (£3.99, 242g) are another strong choice —cooked chicken and vegetables in a curry sauce wrapped in pastry with a katsu dip.

Lovers of a sweet and spicy combo needn’t look further than the Specially Selected Sweet Spicy Arrabbiata Arancini Bites (£2.99, 230g). Crafted with an indulgent combination of rich tomato, risotto rice, creamy mozzarella and tangy Barber’s cheddar, packaged into a spicy bite with a melt-in-the-middle mature cheddar sauce centre. Accompanied with a tomato pomodoro sauce for serving.

For those looking for a mini fakeaway party food experience, Aldi is launching Specially Selected Mini Wellingtons (£2.99, 272g) —tender beef fillets encased in a flaky, buttery puff pastry with savoury mushroom duxelles and a hint of garlic. What’s more, shoppers can pick up Aldi’s Specially Selected Mini Pies (£3.79, 400g) available in Steak & Ale or Chicken, Bacon & Leek flavours.

And that’s not all. Shoppers can try Aldi’s Specially Selected Posh Prawn Toast (£3.99, 8 pack). Juicy prawns, sweet red bell peppers, and savoury onion and garlic are sandwiched between golden and crisp sesame-topped bread. Accompanied by an aromatic Ponzu Dip, these umami flavours are sure to have guests coming back for more.

Specially Selected Crémant de Loire (WAS £8.99, NOW £4.99 – SAVING 44%, 75cl)

A smooth and elegant wine to sip alongside a New Year’s spread, this French sparkling is made in the same way as Champagne, with Crémant de Loire made using grapes from the Loire Valley.
