To celebrate Aldi’s own-label Champagne becoming the second best-selling Champagne in the UK (second only to Moët & Chandon), the supermarket has partnered with Pritesh Mody, cocktail-making marvel and TV mixologist, to create three spectacularly sparkling Champagne cocktails.
The celebratory tipples, all featuring Aldi’s best-selling bubbly, were served at Aldi’s ‘Veuve Champagne Bar’ last week, surprising and delighting shoppers who could enjoy them for as little as £1.09.
New research* suggests Britain is set for a celebratory Christmas, with plans to spend £4.2 billion on alcohol throughout the festive season and enjoy a whopping 430 million glasses of bubbly.
Aldi’s new recipes provide some delightfully alternative serves to a classic glass of fizz. From Christmas themed Cosmos to alcohol-free Spritzes, there is sure to be something to whet everyone’s whistle.

It is no secret that Brits love a pint. In fact, 1.1 billion pints of extra beer was sold in the last year. To satisfy the nation’s beer lovers at what is set to be one of the most celebratory weekends of the year, Aldi has announced the launch of four limited-edition British-themed craft beers (£1.69, 440ml) in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
With a choice of Session IPA, Session Pale Ale, British Ale and British Lager, all beers are packaged in stylish limited-edition prints featuring Big Ben, a Tower of London Guard, Nelson on his Column, and the Queen’s corgis! Shoppers can crack open a cold one and feel patriotic with every sip this bank holiday.
