Aldi’s health and beauty brand, Lacura, is helping shoppers tap into the #CBDBeauty skincare regime with the launch of a new CBD beauty range, and prices start from just £1.99. Packed with premium ingredients and up to 100mg CBD, the unique formulation has been specifically designed for the supermarket’s cruelty free range.
CBD, an acronym for cannabidiol, is a compound extracted from the cannabis sativa plant, otherwise known as hemp. It is said to boast several powerful healing properties such as calming inflammation, relieving dryness and reducing skin irritations.[1]
With the global CBD beauty market expected to be worth £15billion by 2026[2] and the hashtag #CBDBeauty generating a total of 303K views on TikTok, this is one beauty trend that shows no signs of slowing down. Luckily for shoppers, Aldi’s new Lacura range has a product for every beauty routine step.
Prevent dryness and inflammation with the Lacura CBD Facial Cleanser (£5.99, 120ml), enriched with Decyl Glucoside, Glycerol and Hops Extract to stimulate collagen production and hydrate and repair skin. Use alongside Lacura CBD Toner (£5.99, 120ml), packed with Glycerol and Sodium PCA to reduce wrinkles and strengthen the protective barrier of the skin for a hydrated and youthful complexion. Nourish and revitalise with the LacuraCBD Moisturiser (£5.99, 120ml), providing protection against irritants and reducing moisture loss from the skin with added Sunflower Seed Oil and Glycerin. What’s more, the three skincare essentials contain 100mg CBD Isolate, offering optimum strength as well as premium quality.
Beauty lovers can complete their CBD-infused skincare routine with the Lacura CBD Sheet Masks (£1.99, 30g), available in two variants. Choose from Charcoal with added Rosa Centifolia to gently cleanse and remove impurities, or Tea Tree with Chamomile’s anti-inflammatory properties to fight against blemishes and irritation. Both sheet masks are infused with 20mg CBD isolate for maximum results.
Aldi’s CBD Beauty range will be available from 28th July, while stocks last.
