CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY WITH ALDI’S BLOOMING FAIRTRADE ROSE BOUQUET

Support International Women’s Day on Sunday 8th March with Aldi’s marvellous, and ethically-sourced Fairtrade flowers – available at Aldi’s everyday amazing prices.

As part of its commitment to Fairtrade, Aldi supports the ‘Dignity for All’ project, to which the supermarket has pledged £200,000 over four years. The local project supports 11,000 flower farm workers in Ethiopia – one of which is Herburg Roses – and delivers training to workers on women’s empowerment and equality in the workplace, covering gender equality, project management and leadership skills.
Working exclusively with Herburg Roses, and back in stores for International Women’s Day, is Aldi’s Fairtrade Rose Bouquet (£6.99) *. The bouquet is a beautiful blooming bunch of 25 crisp white, cerise pink, yellow, orange and ruby red 40cm Fairtrade Roses roses. What’s more, the Rose Bouquet wrapping features one of the workers involved in the project.
At Aldi, roses are red, yellow, pink and equal for all, so grab yours just in time for International’s Women’s Day.
