CELEBRATE ORGANIC SEPTEMBER WITH ALDI

Not only has there been massive growth in organic wines in recent years[1] but even celebs such as Cameron Diaz and Kourtney Kardashian are opting to go au naturale when picking plonk. With an estimated total of 976 million bottles of organic wine set to be consumed by 2023[2], it’s no surprise that Aldi’s range is a star performer amongst shoppers, with the supermarket selling nearly 20% more organic wine this year than in 2019.

Aldi will be raising a glass to all things natural this Organic September, the perfect time for shoppers to give new tipples a try. Whether drinkers prefer to pop a fizz cork or relax with a fruity red, Aldi’s selection of award-winning organic wines offer something for everyone. What’s more, with the delicious range starting from as little as £5.99, shoppers can sip sustainably, without breaking the bank.

Sam Caporn Mistress of Wine, comments: “Organic wine is an exciting category and one that increasingly resonates with consumers as environmental and health issues become more prevalent. Organic wine is simply wine that is made with no reliance on artificial pesticides, fungicides or fertilizers and typically with lower levels of sulphur dioxide too (a common wine preservative).

“These delicious award-winning organic wines from Aldi are ideal for drinking throughout the year. Pop a bottle of the Organic Prosecco to enjoy the apricot and melon flavours or opt for a refreshing Pinot Grigio to enjoy with meals. You can never go wrong with some pink fizz, so why not treat yourself to the Organic Rosé Spumante to celebrate Organic September.”
