As a nation of pet lovers, Brits are prepared to fork out thousands[1] for their furry friends over their lifetime.

From smart pet tech to stylish accessories, owners are prepared to splash the cash when it comes to choosing the best products for the furriest member of the house. Now, thanks to Aldi’s new Pet Event range, shoppers can pamper their pooches or cuddle their cat for less. Available to pre-order online from Sunday 16th February and in-stores from 20th February, mark the date as this is a range not to paw-get  about, as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
 
With new tech innovations, it’s tempting to shell out for smart tech for the times when your pet is left at home. Thanks to Aldi’s new range, shoppers can now save with Cat Mate’s Cat Auto Pet Feeder which is just £26.99. This smart pet tech is programmed to feed your pet for up to 48 hours timers, available online only.
 
New puppies will feel right at home with Aldi’s Comfort Bundle (£18.99). They can snooze the day away in the soft Sherpa plush inner for ultimate comfort. Available in two designs, spot and stripe, each Comfort Bundle comes with a matching pet blanket and plush squeaky bone toy.

Aldi’s Dog Pack Away Mac (£7.99) is back, now with a brand-new shape and style. This comfy coat will protect your dog from rain and will fit easily into owner’s pockets, perfect for when out and about.

• Aldi’s rates of pay are significantly higher than the Government’s National Living Wage and also above the Living Wage Foundation’s recommended national rates. Store Assistants receive a minimum hourly rate of £9.40 nationally and £10.90 in London.
• Aldi is the official supermarket partner of Team GB and ensures every member of the team has access to fresh healthy Aldi food via monthly shopping vouchers, and that 1.2 million 5-14 year olds will learn about the benefits of cooking fresh, healthy food via its Get Set to Eat Fresh education initiative. Aldi has been a partner since 2015 and has extended its commitment to the 2024 Olympic games in Paris.
• In June 2019, for the sixth consecutive year, Aldi was ranked the best-performing supermarket for compliance with the Groceries Supply Code of Practice, underlining its commitment to maintaining fair, predictable and sustainable prices within its supply chain.
