IT’S A SIGN! ALDI LAUNCHES NEW ELEMENTS GIN RANGE BY HAYSMITH’S

With the potential thirteenth zodiac sign rocking the beliefs of astrology fans recently, the elements are set to stay on everyone’s lips (albeit in a different way!) thanks to Aldi’s new gin range. Launching online and in stores on 6^th August, the Elements by Haysmith’s range (£9.99 – £14.99) is inspired by the constellations and are perfect for summer sipping.

The new collection will see two worlds collide as shoppers can choose a gin or an alcohol-free spirit depending on their preferred element.  

Craft Gin No.1: Earth (£14.99)

Stable and reliable, the Earth gin is an old faithful – perfect for any party, it’s certain to be a crowd pleaser. Darjeeling tea delicately balances the gin with some slight citrus undertones. Best served with ice, premium tonic and a twist of lemon peel.

Earth signs include: TAURUS (20 April – 20 May), VIRGO (23 August – 22 September), CAPRICORN (22 December – 19 January)

Craft Spirit No.2: Water (£9.99)

This Water non-alcoholic spirit may be calm, collected and free of alcohol, but its explosion of lemongrass, ginger and citrus makes for the ultimate refreshing summer drink, perfect for the designated driver. Simply top up with premium lemonade, citrus peel and plenty of ice. What’s more, savvy shoppers can save over £15 versus competitor brands[1].

Water signs include: PISCES (19 February – 20 March), CANCER (22 June – 22 July), SCORPIO (23 OCTOBER – 21 November)

Craft Gin No.3: Air (£14.99)

This new element is anything but traditional and will bring a breath of fresh air to sippers’ palettes. Experience the powerful and savoury flavours of dulce seaweed and sea buckthorn combined. Perfect served with ice, premium tonic and twist of pink grapefruit peel.

Air signs include: AQUARIUS (20 January – 18February), GEMINI (21 May – 21 June), LIBRA (23 September – 22 October)

Craft Gin No.4: Fire (£14.99)

Not one for the fainthearted, this Fire gin is sure to light up any room. Made with passion and warmth, the heat of chilli intertwined with the perfume of the pink Szechuan peppercorns will tantalise tastebuds and leave people wanting more. Serve in a tall glass over ice and with tonic to cool the spice. 

Fire signs include: ARIES (21 March – 19 April), LEO (23 July – 22 August), & SAGITTARIUS (22 November – 21 December)

The Elements by Haysmith’s sits alongside a host of refreshing tipples as part of the new August Spirits Festival which includes a Honeycomb Gin (£14.99), a Bitter Orange Gin Liqueur (£8.99) and Raspberry Mojito Rum (£14.99). All launching online and in stores on 6^th August.
