Aldi’s Specially Selected Scones are ‘the Diamond of the Season’ with more than a million scones flying off shelves in the past week, and sales predicted to double over the Jubilee weekend.

Described by shoppers as the most ‘gorgeous’ scone offering on the market, this melt in the mouth quintessentially British treat is proving popular for the royal occasion.

Aldi’s cream tea essentials include Specially Selected All Butter Scones (£1.09, 260g), Specially Selected Classic Strawberry Conserve (£1.25, 340g), and Specially Selected Traditional Cornish Clotted Cream (£1.49, 200g) and create a delicious treat for just 96p a head. Would ju-believe it?

Those looking to complete a Bank Holiday afternoon treat, should try Aldi’s Jubilee weekend range, which includes the new Jubilee Gourmet Popcorn (£1.99, 80g) and the vintage classic Coronation Flavoured Coleslaw (85p 300g) available in store now, with the novelty Platinum Corgis (£2.99, 300g) also landing on shelves from 2^nd June.
