PURR-FECT MATCH – ALDI LAUNCHES CAT SIZED HANGING EGG CHAIR

• Aldi is launching a feline friendly version of its cult favourite Hanging Egg Chair
• The supermarket’s new eco-friendly pet range also includes a Cat Igloo, Recycled Pet Beds, Recycled Dog Toys and Bamboo Pet Bowls

Following the popularity of its Hanging Egg Chair, Aldi has revealed a pet purrfect version of the chair as part of its new Eco Pet range.

Aldi’s timely new range comes as 3.2 million households in the UK have acquired a new pet since March 2020[1], with demand for stylish furnishings on the rise, demonstrated with the increase in search terms for the likes of   ‘pet friendly kitchens’ [2]. Luckily, Aldi’s environmentally friendly range includes products that will seamlessly blend into any interior, helping to make every pet’s house a home. Available to pre-order online from 23^rd May and to purr-chase in store from 30^th May, pet lovers should be quick as once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Pam-purr cats with Aldi’s Cat Egg Chair (£34.99, online only) – made from natural wicker the chair is hand woven and supported by a strong metal frame to keep felines safe and sound. The design boasts a removable inner cushion. For an easily transportable bed, try the Cat Igloo (£24.99, online only), also made from natural wicker the comfortable igloo has a wire door to keep kitties secure and includes a removable cushion.

Pups will go mutts for Aldi’s Recycled Pet Beds (£22.99 Large, £19.99 Medium). Designed with a recycled velour outer and recycled fluffy interior the machine washable bed is the ultimate must have, or dog devotees can opt for the circular Recycled Donut Pet Bed (£12.99) to keep pups pampered to perfection. Looking for eco-friendly dog toys? Aldi has just the answer with its vast range of Recycled Dog Toys (£3.49 – £3.99), available in designs and sizes for every pup.  

Don’t let the style stop there – make sure dogs look the part when out and about in Aldi’s Recycled Dog Coat (£4.99). Available in a choice of grey or blue, the stylish coat with a recycled outer layer has easy and adjustable fastenings for extra comfort. It’s even available in five sizes, ensuring there’s one to fit the whole pack. Aldi’s Recycled Dog Harness (£3.99) is available in either recycled mesh made from PPE plastic bottles or a strappy harness made from bamboo. Don’t forget to pack those all-important pet treats while out and about – pups will go mad for Langhams Fillet Treats (£5.69, 400g).

Aldi’s Bamboo Pet Bowls (£3.99) are ideal for a mess free feeding time. Designed with two bowls in one, it’s made with 100% bamboo fibres, a strong and durable material that is safe for both pets and owners.
