Aldi Scotland is showcasing some of the Highland’s top brewers and best beers from just £1.59

Beer lovers across the Highlands are in for treat this month as Aldi Scotland has unveiled a selection of craft beers from Aviemore’s most-loved breweries as part of its 27th Scottish Beer Festival.

The festival is set to showcase 25 craft beers from five regions in Scotland, including the Highlands, Edinburgh and the Lothians, the Central Belt, Aberdeen and Glasgow, giving customers the opportunity to sample locally produced, top-quality brews at everyday prices.

Named the UK’s Cheapest Supermarket in 2021 by Which?, Aldi guarantees some of the most competitive pricing on Scottish food and drink, while still retaining the highest quality in its products.

Aldi shoppers will strike gold this summer with Cairngorm Brewing Company’s Black Gold (£1.79) and Cairngorm Gold (£1.59) hitting shelves across the supermarket’s 103 Scottish stores from 28th July. Showing true versatility, the brewery’s award-winning Black Gold stout is a favourite amongst beer aficionados, while the Cairngorm Gold offers a hoppy taste, perfect for those looking for a refreshing sip in the Scottish sunshine.

Loch Ness Brewery, in partnership with Cairngorm Brewing Company, will also be showcasing its superb range of craft beers this summer offering shoppers a choice between its zesty citrus pale ale, Lightness (£1.59) and a rich, dark stout, Darkness (£1.79), which has a creamy head of coffee and sweet chocolate for those with an adventurous palette.

Merlin Sandbach, Sales Director, at Cairngorm Brewing Company, said: “It’s fantastic that we, as well as our sister company and neighbour, Loch Ness Brewery, will feature in Aldi’s Summer Beer festival. Aldi’s commitment to local suppliers such as ourselves is really motivating and feeds our passion for sharing our craft beers with beer lovers across Scotland.”

Graham Nicolson, Group Buying Director, Aldi Scotland, said: “Our Scottish Beer Festivals are always a big event in the Aldi Scotland calendar. I’m proud that the relationships we have built with Scottish brewers over the years mean that we can showcase some truly excellent beers to a wider audience, such as this year’s selection from the Highlands.”
