Aldi is updating its popular Mamia baby food range to better support parents during weaning. Shoppers will start to spot the refreshed products in stores nationwide from this month, as they are introduced on a phased basis.
The refresh includes new-look packaging with clearer age suitability advice and feeding guidance on pack, giving parents simple, helpful information when choosing products for their little ones.
Recipes are also being updated across selected products, including changes to lower naturally occurring salt and sugar levels where appropriate, while keeping the range at the everyday low prices families expect from Aldi.
The range update also sees Aldi add its Apple & Raspberry and Banana & Mango Corn Hearts finger food products, suitable for children aged 12+ months, to the everyday Mamia range, following a successful trial in stores. The products are priced at 85p per 30g pack and are expected to roll out across the UK this month.
The update comes ahead of new voluntary government guidelines for commercial baby food and drink, which take effect from February 2027.
Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know parents want clear, simple information when choosing food for their little ones, which is why we’re refreshing our Mamia baby food range.
“This latest refresh includes clearer on-pack information, updated age suitability advice and feeding guidance, as well as recipe improvements across selected products.
“Mamia remains designed to support families in the early years, offering great quality, everyday value and helpful guidance when parents are choosing food for their little ones.”
