Christmas feasting isn’t just about turkey. This festive season, Aldi is offering a selection of mouth-watering mains sure to be the hero of every dinner table. After seeing a staggering 167% uplift in sales year on year for wagyu1, the supermarket is launching an extensive selection of festive mains so shoppers can enjoy carving out a new Christmas tradition.

Sure to be a hit with meat-lovers, the supermarket is launching the decadent NEW Specially Selected Ultimate Wagyu Picanha (£29.99 per kg). This cut offers unparalleled tenderness, featuring a beautifully crisp, salt and pepper-crusted outer layer. Diners will enjoy a rich, intensely beefy flavour and a succulent texture, with generous marbling that brings a luxurious buttery depth and a subtle peppery spice. Available in stores from 19th December.

Taking centre stage this year, Aldi has completely reformulated its Specially Selected Beef Wellington (£32.99, 1kg), transforming it into a standout showstopper that rivals high-end restaurant quality for a fraction of the price. The dish boasts a prime 30-day matured beef fillet seasoned with a rich porcini mushroom rub. It’s then topped with a smooth mushroom parfait and wrapped in a delicate pancake, before being beautifully encased in an indulgent all-butter puff pastry. Available in stores from 19th December.

Also joining the Wagyu line-up is the returning fan-favourite Specially Selected Ultimate Wagyu Shin with Beef and Red Wine Jus (£29.99, 1.9kg). Exceptionally tender and meltingly soft, this slow-cooked shin delivers deep, savoury beef flavours. It is perfectly complemented by a glossy beef and red wine jus, bringing layers of roasted meat and dark red fruit notes for a rich, warming finish. Available in stores from 19th December.

Equally decadent is the returning Specially Selected Wagyu Wing Rib (£32.99 per kg). An exceptionally premium bone-in prime roast cut enhanced by flavourful, buttery marbling, this Wagyu joint makes a truly impressive centrepiece for the festive table. Available in stores from 19th December.

Back by popular demand, the iconic Specially Selected Wagyu Tomahawk (£34.99 per kg) offers a supersized steak guaranteed to impress guests. With its intricately marbled, juicy texture and superior size, this premium main proves shoppers don’t need to break the bank to create an elevated festive dining experience.  Available in stores from 19th December.

Shoppers can also pick up the impressive Specially Selected 2-Bone Rib of Beef with Salt and Pepper Seasoning (£22.99 per kg). This juicy cut of beef is delicately marbled throughout.
