ALDI PARTNERS WITH TONY’S CHOCOLONELY TO LAUNCH OWN LABEL CHOCOLATE BAR FOR JUST £1.99

In a supermarket first, Aldi has partnered with much loved brand Tony’s Chocolonely to create a 100% responsibly sourced own label chocolate bar. The Fairtrade approved Choceur Choco Changer (£1.99) aims to change the norm of the cocoa industry by following Tony’s Chocolonely values. Three delicious bars will be launching as a Specialbuy in stores nationwide from 19^th September.

Made from 100% Belgian chocolate, the bars are available in three indulgent flavours, Hazelnut, Salted Caramel and 70% Dark Chocolate.

• Choco Changer Hazelnut Bar: Crafted with premium ingredients, the Hazelnut Bar combines rich Fairtrade chocolate with whole hazelnuts, creating a gorgeously textured bite.
• Choco Changer Salted Caramel Bar: Shoppers will want a choco-lot of the Salted Caramel Bar, made from a beautiful Fairtrade milk chocolate and crunchy caramel, topped with a hint of salt to compliment the sweet flavourings.
• Choco Changer 70% Dark Chocolate Bar: The Dark Chocolate Bar will truly make hearts melt, containing 70% cocoa Fairtrade chocolate, this bar is created with true chocolate lovers in mind!

The Choceur Choco Changer range will adhere to all five of Tony’s Chocolonely sourcing principles; traceable beans, a higher price, strong farmers, the long term and productivity and quality.

The supermarket has long been dedicated to sourcing cocoa sustainably through its Fairly Traded policy, to have 100% of cocoa in Aldi’s own-label products either Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance or UTZ certified.

Aldi’s NEW Choceur Choco Changer range will be available in Aldi stores nationwide from
19^th September 2021.
