• Thousands of shoppers voted for Aldi’s ‘Fan Favourite’ items and Pierre Jaurant Sud De France Rosé came out as best tipple

Aldi’s Pierre Jaurant Sud De France Rosé (£6.29, 75cl) has officially stolen the hearts (and tastebuds) of the nation to be crowned by shoppers as the UK’s favourite Aldi wine.

The supermarket, which opened its first UK store in Birmingham in 1990, asked customers to vote for the items that have kept them returning to the aisles over the last 34 years. Spanning ten categories, including ‘Top Tipple’ and ‘Health & Beauty’ as well as ‘Social Media Star’, the Fan Favourite survey looked to settle the score on the nation’s favourite products.

With over 420,000 casting votes, the Pierre Jaurant Sud De France Rosé was the clear favourite, scoring nearly 20% of overall votes in the Top Tipple category. 

So, what makes this blush-hued beauty so special? Imagine delicate floral aromas mingling with juicy red berries and whispers of citrus. This dry, crisp rosé dances on the palate with subtle strawberry notes, making it the perfect sip for all year round. Even wine connoisseurs are raising a glass to its undeniable charm![1]
