ALDI ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF ITS BIGGEST EVER SUMMER FOODS RANGE

• Exciting range includes more than 75 brand new products with prices starting from just £1.89
• New products include Popcorn Ice Creams, Tapas range and plant-based BBQ options

As shoppers prepare to spring into the summer months, Aldi has announced the launch of its most extensive Spring/Summer food range to date. With more than 200 products in total launching across the summer, and more than a third of which are brand new, this enormous haul has something for everyone, from BBQ essentials to plant-based bites and indulgent desserts. Products start at just £1.89, with some products already in stores.

Shoppers can kick off the summer months with Aldi’s brand new Specially Selected Tapas range. In stores from 29^th March, the collection includes Spanish classics such as a Three Bean & Iberico Cheese Medley (£1.99, 185g), Chargrilled Spanish Chorizo (£1.99, 175g), Tortilla with Onion (£1.99, 184g), alongside a rich and creamy Greek Baking Feta (£1.99, 200g) – the taste of the Mediterranean has never been so easy to recreate.

Aldi will be adding to its extensive range of fake-away favourites to make nights at home even more affordable (and delicious!). New additions include the tasty TGI Friday inspired[i] Takeaway Chicken Tenders (£3.49) in a sweet Sesame Seeds & BBQ (385g) or spicy Chilli Mayo flavour (350g), arriving in stores from 15^th May. Fake-away fanatics will love Aldi’s two brand new Indian side dishes launching from 29^th March. The Dishoom alternative Specially Selected Gunpowder Potatoes (£2.49, 300g) and street food inspired Specially Selected Loaded Masala Potatoes(£2.49, 300g) will land in stores.Both add the ultimate side of decadence to any at-home curry night.

Plant based shoppers are in for a treat this summer with a host of new plant-based BBQ options arriving in Aldi stores. Thenew Plant Menu BBQ Ribs and No Chicken Wings (£1.99, 210g) will be launching from 3^rd April, whilst the Plant Menu Peri Peri Skewers and Salt & Chilli Skewers (£1.99, 240g) will arrive in stores in June.Whilst the brand-new Plant Menu Ultimate No Pork Sausages (£1.99, 6 pack) have just landed in store, and are a whopping 50% cheaper than Beyond Meat’s popular offering.

Those after a sweet treat to cool down this summer will love Aldi’s new range of ice-cream goodies set to hit shelves. Brand new additions include the Gianni’s Popcorn Ice-cream Cones (£1.89, 4 x 100ml) in stores in May, and the new delicious Dairyfine Honeycomb Crunch Ice Creams (£1.99, 3x100ml) coated in popping candy, which have just landed in stores.

Or for those who are after an ice-free summer sweet treat will love the newlight and delicate Specially Selected Macarons (£1.99, 66g) which are available in a choice of Summer or Classic flavours in store from 29^th March.
