ALDI BECOMES FIRST UK SUPERMARKET TO STOCK ASTI ROSÉ DOCG – FOR JUST £4.99

Aldi has popped the cork on a new pink fizz in its Italian wine range, becoming the first UK supermarket to stock Asti Spumante Rosé DOCG for just £4.99. 

Available in stores nationwide on 4^th June, the new sparkling rosé brings a vibrant, summer-ready twist to Aldi’s Italian fizz selection. 

Produced in Asti, situated in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy and made from a blend of aromatic Moscato and Brachetto grapes, Asti Rosé offers delicate floral aromas, juicy berry notes and a refreshing fizz. With its vibrant pink hue and naturally fruity character, it’s a versatile sparkling wine that’s perfect for everything from summer get-togethers to celebratory toasts.  

Aldi’s wine expert and Master of Wine, Sam Caporn, says: “It’s a beautiful coral-pink fizz with inviting aromas of sun-ripened strawberries, juicy pineapple, pear and delicate orange blossom. The flavours are lively yet elegant, with a moreish medium-sweet finish that makes it ideal for summer sipping. Asti Rosé is notoriously hard to find in the UK, so Aldi’s launch is a rare treat for fizz lovers.
