ALDI LAUNCHES 0% PINK GIN THAT IS 40% CHEAPER THAN GORDON’S

Haysmith’s 0% Raspberry and Redcurrant Gin alternative joins the supermarket’s low and no line up from 2nd January

Dry January 2022 had the highest participation numbers ever, with over 130,000 Brits taking part1. Now Aldi is bolstering its low and no offering ahead of what is set to be one of the Driest Januarys on record.

The supermarket is launching an alcohol-free version of its award-winning Haysmith’s Raspberry and Redcurrant Gin, so spirit lovers can enjoy their favorite tipple without the sore head this year.

Perfectly balanced with sweet, fruity notes and a lasting citrus burst, this raspberry and redcurrant gin alternative is best served with a premium tonic, ice and a handful of raspberries.

Plus, to sweeten up Dry January even more, shoppers could save more than 40% compared to a competitor Gordon’s!

The new launch will be joining Aldi’s line-up of no and low alcohol alternatives this year, including the popular Zerozecco (£2.79,75cl). Described as a ‘complete steal’ by Good Housekeeping Institute, the alcohol-free bubbly was awarded ‘Best Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine’ in a 2022 taste test of alcohol-free wines3.

Called out for its ‘well-balanced opening acidity’, complex, citrussy flavour and ‘perfect’ bubbles, this fizzy treat will add a touch of sparkle to get Brits through the January blues.

Beer fans can also approach Dry January with ease, with Aldi’s range of 0% beers. The supermarket’s Premium Pilsner 0% Alcohol Free (£2.49 6x330ml) offers a slightly bitter and predominant grain taste, and its Sainte Etienne 0% Premium Lager Beer (89p for 500ml) is a refreshing no alcohol lager with a light fruity pear flavour.

Last but not least, sweet-toothed revellers can indulge their cravings guilt free with Aldi’s Alska Ciders 0.5% (99p for 500ml); available in Strawberry & Lime and Nordic Berries.

Haysmith’s Raspberry and Redcurrant 0% Gin is available in stores from 2nd January.

Aldi’s Zerozecco and 0% beers are available in stores now.
