ALDI LAUNCHES CREATE-YOUR-OWN CUTHBERT CAKE KITS FOR HOME BAKERS

Aldi shoppers will soon be able to get their hands on exclusive Cuthbert Cake moulds, enabling them to create their own tasty, customisable caterpillar cake at home. Available to pre-order online from 3^rd September and in stores from 8^th September, the moulds are part of Aldi’s affordable new Home Baker range, which also includes essentials such as bowls, jugs, electric mixers and aprons.

Get creative with the Cuthbert Cake kit (£4.99), which includes two trays with moulds for Cuthbert’s cheeky face, feet and even a crown and wings. Whether it’s for a rainy-day activity with the kids or as a gift for Cuthbert fans, these kits are sure to be a hit. Bakers will need to be quick if they want to get their hands on the moulds though, because as with all Specialbuys once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Aldi’s iconic Classic Stand Mixer (£49.99) also returns and will help home bakers create the perfect Cuthbert sponge to really bake their day! With eight different speed levels and pulse functionality, this classic mixer is available in Pink, Cream and Greenand also features a flat-beater, non-stick whisk, dough hook and splash guard. For those who prefer to do the work themselves, Aldi’s Hand Mixer (£19.99) is the ideal choice for everyday recipes.

Baking fans can also pick up other quality essentials at unbeatable prices, including the dishwasher and microwave safe Glass Mixing Bowl Set (£6.99), 3-pack Measuring Jugs (£2.99) and a selection of Baking Utensils (£1.99 each) including spoons, turners, whisks, pastry brushes and rolling pins. Shoppers can make sure their Cuthbert creations stay nice and fresh with the Cake Container Set (£7.99), available in both square and round designs.

Aldi’s Silcone Baking Moulds (£4.99) are also available in a range of designs including mini cupcake, mini loaf, and cake pop moulds. Silicone baking sheets with reinforced fibre glass are also available, providing a flexible, durable baking option with excellent heat distribution – the ideal baking sheet for cookies, pastries and more. All moulds come in a stylish pastel pink or light grey to complement neutral kitchen shades.
