ALDI LAUNCHES EXCITING NEW VEGAN RANGE AS IT PREDICTS HUGE SALES UPLIFT THIS VEGANUARY

  • Aldi is launching its biggest ever vegan range, including NEW Plant Menu Corn Dogs and NEW Plant Menu No Salmon Slices
  • Supermarket predicts a 40% sales uplift year on year on its Plant Menu range

For those looking to add to their vegan repertoire this Veganuary, Aldi has got shoppers covered as it launches exciting, never seen before additions to its Plant Menu range. With delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and with some options already in stores now, those opting for a vegan diet this January will certainly be hap-pea!

Switching to a plant-based diet doesn’t mean shoppers need to ditch the good stuff – Aldi has unveiled a whole new fast food inspired range, made completely from plant-based ingredients. Brand new for 2024, are the Plant Menu Corn Dogs (£1.99, 180g). A popular American fast-food staple, Veganuary is about to get a whole lot more exciting. Those looking to get their fried chicken fix can indulge in the Plant Menu No Chicken Pieces (£2.49, 280g). Made up of juicy wings and tenders, inspired by everyone’s favourite fried chicken chain. Both available in stores now.

Aldi is also returning to stores a sweet snack or dessert worth melting for. Cornetto inspired, the Plant Menu Strawberries & Cream and Hazelnut & Praline Vegan Ice Cream Cones (£1.99, 4 pack). A crispy wafer stuffed with silky-smooth ice cream and slathered in delicious chocolate.  

For those craving tasty oriental flavours, the brand new Plant Menu Vegetable Fritters (£1.99, 150g) are the perfect option. Choose from Vegetable Tempura Fritters with a Black Rice Vinegar Dip or Spicy Sweetcorn Fritters with a Sweet Chilli Dip -available in stores now.

For more everyday dinner or lunch options, Aldi shoppers can reach for the new Plant Menu Veggie Bites (£1.99, 160g) available from 28th December, and Plant Menu Smoked No Salmon Slices (£2.99, 100g) available from 2nd January. And, if that is not enough, shoppers can pick up the Plant Menu Mushroom Bolognese and Plant Menu Coronation Chickpea Curry (£2.39, 380g) in stores now.

Along with its new offering, Aldi is also bringing back its viral sensation Vegan Breakfast Pastries – shoppers can pick up the Plant Menu Croissants and Plant Menu Pain-au-Chocolat (£1.89, 360g) for the perfect vegan breakfast feast. Available now.
