ALDI LAUNCHES FIRST EVER OWN-BRAND PERIOD PANTS

  • Customers can save 50% compared to M&S
  • Annually, Aldi shoppers can save themselves over £116 compared to disposable sanitary products

Supermarket Aldi has launched its first ever own-brand Period Pants, costing shoppers just £7.99 for a pack of three – that’s just £2.66 each. Available in stores from 21st March, shoppers will need to be quick as with all Specialbuys once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The reusable period product combines four innovative layers to ensure wearers feel comfortable and secure all day; a wicking layer with antimicrobial technology that provides odour control and stops bacteria growth, an absorbent layer for a secure dry-locking feeling, a leakproof and breathable layer to protect clothes and a comfortable outer layer. Able to be worn and washed, and then worn again, Aldi’s latest launch comes in a choice of two styles, full briefs or mini briefs, each available in sizes 8-10, 12-14 and 16-18.

Perfect for those looking to make a sustainable change, these reusable Period Pants not only help reduce plastic waste, but also help save customers money. At just £7.99, Aldi’s Period Pants are the cheapest on the market, costing £2.01 (20%) less than Primark and a whopping £8.01 (50%) less than M&S. And, with the average spend per month on single use period products being £11[1], buying just two packs of Aldi’s reusable option can save shoppers £116.02 annually[2].

Aldi’s NEW Period Pants are available in stores only from 21st March, whilst stocks last.
