22 October, 2025

  • Priced at £4.99 and Good Housekeeping Institute-approved, the NEW Trick or Treat Pig in Blanket Roulette with Blood Ketchup offers a variety of pigs in blankets flavours including a spicy ‘Grim Reaper Chilli’
  • Joining alongside this year’s Halloween range includes Aldi’s Halloween Pizza, Halloween Bao Buns, Frankenstein’s Fingers and Witches Green Cheese Cauldron
  • Available in stores from 27th October

Aldi is inviting shoppers to play a thrilling game of chance with its NEW Trick or Treat Pig in Blanket Roulette with Blood Ketchup (£4.99, 415g).

Available in stores from 27th October, this daring delight offers a mix of Bacon & Maple, Hot Honey, and the ultimate spicy Grim Reaper Chilli pigs in blankets. Each pig in blanket can be dipped in the accompanying ‘blood’ tomato sauce for a taste that’s either a mild treat or a fiery trick.

Promising to be a fan favourite, it’s no surprise the Good Housekeeping Institute hailed it a Halloween ‘best buy,’ scoring an impressive 81/100 in a recent taste test.

Beyond this, Aldi is also set to bewitch shoppers with its latest Halloween Pizza offerings available in two frightfully delicious flavours:  Scarily Spicy (£3.99, 454g) and Cheese Feast (£3.99, 465g).

The Scarily Spicy option features a fluffy base with a crisp golden crust, topped with a scarily hot atomic sauce that delivers a creeping heat with every bite. Lightly spiced paprika beef, mildly spiced mini pepperoni, and crunchy jalapeño slices complete this fiery creation, decorated in a scary face to provide the ultimate fright. The Cheese Feast offers a more traditional flavour sensation but is just as tasty.

Next, for the perfect Halloween party snack, shoppers can reach for Aldi’s Halloween Bao Buns (£3.99, 6 pack) which also impressed the Good Housekeeping Institute, scoring 79/100.

Fans can choose from soft, fluffy steamed buns in freaky-faced BBQ Chicken & Vegetable, Sweet & Sour Veg Pumpkin, or Katsu Vegetable Green Mummies with spooky bandage details and red eyes.

Vegetarian shoppers will love Aldi’s Frankenstein’s Fingers (£1.99, 200g). A finger-licking favourite starter, these green mozzarella sticks are coated in a crunchy breadcrumb, providing a gruesome twist on a cheesy classic.

Finally, returning by popular demand is Aldi’s gruesomely green Witches Green Cheese Cauldron (£3.49, 175g). This spookily tasty dish is swirling with mature cheddar cheese, garlic and cream to trick the taste buds this Halloween, perfect for sharing with budding witches or wizards.

Aldi’s range of Halloween foods are available in stores from 27th October, while stocks last.

28 January, 2026
  • The supermarket is offering one lucky shopper their ‘dream job’, receiving a variety of Aldi nuggets for FREE in exchange for feedback
  • The news coincides with the return of Aldi’s popular heart-shaped ‘Love Nuggets’ returning to shelves from 10th February as part of the supermarket’s Valentine’s Day range
  • Entries are now open until 4th February

Aldi is on the hunt for the ultimate nugget connoisseur to claim the coveted title of its first-ever Nugget Taster.

The search comes as the nation’s love for nuggets reaches fever pitch. Cultural phenomena like the YouTube series ‘Chicken Shop Date’, which has amassed over a billion views in the last five years[1], and ‘#chickennuggets’, which has reached over 3.6 billion views globally[2], have cemented the humble nugget as a true cultural icon.

The successful applicant will receive a selection of Aldi’s best-selling nuggets to sample for free. This includes the supermarket’s popular Share the Love ‘Love Nuggets’ with Date Ketchup (£2.99, 350g),which return to stores from 10th February as part of the Valentine’s Day range. Priced at just £2.99, the heart-shaped bites have already proven a fan favourite, with shoppers previously sharing their excitement on Facebook groups, New Foods UK and Snack Reviews.

In addition, the successful applicant will also receive the supermarket’s classic Oakhurst Chicken Nuggets with Dips (£1.79, 300g), Roosters Chicken Nuggets in Breadcrumbs (£1.65, 450g) and Tempura Chicken Nuggets (£3.99, 540g).

All the supermarket is asking in return is a set of reviews rating the nuggets on their taste, texture, and the crispiness of their coating, to help guide the supermarket’s Buying Team on future products.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “The nation’s love for chicken nuggets is undeniable and we’re seeing a huge appetite for new and exciting flavours. Our shoppers are our most important critics, so launching the role of an official Nugget Taster is the perfect way to ensure our products deliver the quality, taste, and price they deserve.”

To be in with a chance of landing this tasty job, all candidates need to do is send a video application to NuggetTaster@aldi.co.uk with the following details:

  • Full name
  • Age and location
  • Social media handles
  • Why they love Aldi’s nuggets
  • Why they should be Aldi’s first-ever Nugget Taster
