ALDI LAUNCHES NEW BLOOD ORANGE GIN THAT IS 36% CHEAPER THAN MALFY

With Halloween creeping upon us, supermarket Aldi is getting in the spooky spirit by launching Haysmith’s Blood Orange Gin (70cl, £15.99), available from 19^th September – and a massive £9 cheaper than Malfy!

Set to impress shoppers, the supermarket welcomes the delicious new flavour of Blood Orange Gin to its stores just in time for the nation’s Halloween events.

Bursting with rich citrus flavours of juicy oranges with a selection of ripe Sicilian blood oranges and blended with the finest botanicals and juniper to create a refreshingly vibrant gin. Simply serve with plenty of ice, tonic, or a glass of bubbly for the ultimate Halloween tipple!

Whether hosting a party or planning a quiet night in with a scary movie, Aldi’s Haysmith’s Blood Orange Gin is an ideal accompaniment for a Spooktacular evening – whilst saving shoppers over 36% compared to rival Malfy.

Blood Orange Drac-uiri

Serves: 8 drinks

Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

• 200g Strawberries – fresh or frozen
• 200g Raspberries – fresh or frozen
• 2 big handfuls Ice Cubes
• 2 Limes
• 100ml Blood Orange Gin (optional)

Method

1. Zest the limes and keep to one side

2. Put the strawberries and raspberries in a blender and add the ice and juice of the limes

3. Blend until a smooth slushy-like consistency

4. Add the gin if desired

5. Serve in ice cold glasses and decorate with lime zest curls
