Aldi shoppers can swap their traditional turkey for alternative mains as demand for beef and pork mains continue to rise
After sales of its Specially Selected Beef range doubled last Christmas, supermarket Aldi has added a NEW Specially Selected Peppercorn Crusted Wagyu Picanha to its award-winning range for this year. The launch comes after Aldi’s Wagyu Beef has been shortlisted by the Quality Food Awards as Own Label Range of the Year.
Landing just in time for the big day, this incredibly succulent cut of Wagyu is meticulously encrusted with a fragrant blend of peppercorns and aromatic spices – providing the ultimate luxury for any Christmas lunch. With an unbeatable price with fully welfare-assured meat – shoppers are assured by transparency and traceability in every tasty bite. In stores from 19th December for £24.99 per kg 580-830g.
Aldi’s Specially Selected Crackling Gammon Joint (Bone-In) (£14.99, 2.5kg) is an ideal choice for lovers of a festive ham. This impressive plate is a tasty addition to Aldi’s popular pork range, which has expanded following a 28% increase in sales last year. The more-ish centrepiece is topped with a crunchy crackling and sticky brown sugar glaze and oozes savoury aromas and hints of clove.
