Aldi is shaking up the wine world with the launch of its groundbreaking new product, Costellore Still Prosecco DOC (£5.99, 75cl). Poised to redefine summer refreshment, this innovative tipple offers a unique twist on the nation’s favourite sparkling wine.

On shelves now, Aldi’s Costellore Still Prosecco DOC (£5.99, 75cl) is crafted from the same Glera grapes as its bubbly counterpart. This innovative wine offers all the fresh, fruity flavour of Prosecco, minus the fizz. Think vibrant orchard fruit aromas and a crisp, refreshing taste – perfect for those seeking a lighter, trend-forward alternative to traditional white wine.

Mistress of Wine, Sam Caporn, praises the new wine: “This light, fresh, still Prosecco has much in common with its sparkling sibling, boasting notes of apricot, honeysuckle, ripe pear and melon with beautifully balancing lemon acidity. Delicious!”

For fans of Italian white wines, Aldi’s Still Prosecco is a game-changer. Sam Caporn further explains, “This is made from the same grape as the sparkling wine – Glera – and as such, it has the same tasty flavours of orchard and stone fruits. It also makes an excellent alternative to famous northern Italian wines such as Gavi. It would be fantastic when enjoyed alongside classic Italian dishes such as seafood pasta, carbonara or risotto.”

As shorter days and darker evenings approach, Aldi is launching a collection of dog walk essentials designed to ensure both late-night walkers and their furry friends stay visible. Aldi is answering pet owners’ need for practical and affordable solutions that make winter outings enjoyable and safe. Available in stores from 23rd October, winter walkers must be quick because as with all Aldi Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!

For an all over glow, the LED Dog Harness (£12.99, sizes S-L) is the perfect option. With a tri-light function including rapid flashing, flashing and constant light, USB charger, it’s available in three colourway options, black, blue or orange. A slip-on style harness with adjustable straps means it is the perfect fit for every pup.

To enhance visibility even further, dog owners can try the LED Fabric Dog Collar (£4.99, sizes S-L) available in grey or red, while the LED Rubber Ring Dog Collar (£4.99, size universal L) lights up in a choice of blue, green, orange or pink. Both collars offer two light functions — flashing mode and continuous light.
