ALDI LAUNCHES UK’S FIRST SUPERMARKET BUILD YOUR OWN GINGERBREAD TRAIN KIT AS #GINGERBREADTRAIN TREND SURPASSES 21 MILLION VIEWS ON TIKTOK 

Aldi is delivering all the Christmas joy this year with the launch of its NEW Build Your Own Gingerbread Train Kit (£5.99, 1,035g) and return of the fan favourite Build Your Own Gingerbread House (£5.99, 900g). Both available in stores from 28^th November.  

The perfect wholesome activity for the school holidays or a cosy Christmas Eve at home, the charming kits are filled with everything little ones — and adults — need to create the most showstopping gingerbread masterpieces. 

With over 21 million DIY Gingerbread Train videos on TikTok¹, savvy shoppers will be thrilled to know they can now pick up all they need to embrace the seasonal trend during their weekly Aldi shop.  

The NEW Build Your Own Gingerbread Train, reminiscent of festive favourite The Polar Express, comes with seven pre-cut gingerbread biscuits (ready to assemble into 28 fun pieces), iced lebkuchen (a soft German biscuit similar to gingerbread) and two bags of gummy sweets and smarties.  

For those who love a classic, Aldi’s Build Your Own Gingerbread House comes complete with gingerbread house parts, gummies and candy-coated chocolates, mini family figures and a gingerbread tree, creating a fun festive activity for the whole family to enjoy.
