ALDI PUTS AN EASTER TWIST ON A CLASSIC WITH THE LAUNCH OF ITS NEW HOT CROSS BUNETTONE

  • Fan favourites including the Specially Selected Passion Fruit Panna Cotta Eggs make welcome returns

Shoppers with a sweet tooth need look no further than Aldi this Easter, as the supermarket unveils its highly anticipated range of Easter desserts starting from as little as £3.89, available in stores from 8th March.

For those looking for a seasonal showstopper, Aldi is introducing the NEW Specially Selected Hot Cross Bunettone (£7.99, 750g). A unique and indulgent fusion of two iconic bakery favourites, this bake combines the light, airy texture of a traditional Italian Panettone with the comforting spiced notes of a classic Hot Cross Bun. Packed with juicy raisins and fragrant candied orange peel, this innovative treat is perfect for slicing and sharing, available from 8th March.

And that’s not all! Aldi is also welcoming back a range of returning fan favourites along with some newcomers:

Specially Selected Passion Fruit Panna Cotta Eggs (£3.89, 2x111g): Truly indulgent, this Easter inspired Panna Cotta dessert is filled with a creamy vanilla flavour and Belgian white chocolate layers, finished with a refreshing passionfruit jelly to resemble an egg. Also launching alongside are the Specially Selected Raspberry & Vanilla Flowers (£3.89, 2x97g), the perfect dessert for Spring. Available from 30th March.

  • NEW Easter Macarons (£3.99, 90g):  The ultimate seasonal sweet treat, these macarons are available in three indulgent flavours: Salted Caramel, with a creamy salted centre, Raspberry Cheesecake which delivers a silky-smooth finish with a tangy berry twist, and Hazelnut Delight, featuring a crisp milk chocolate shell encasing a smooth hazelnut centre. Available from 8th March.
  • Specially Selected Pistachio Tiramisu (£7.99, 575g): Rich and velvety, this twist on the classic dessert comes with lady fingers soaked in coffee and brandy syrup, layered with pistachio and mascarpone mousse and topped with chopped pistachios. Available in stores 30th March.
  • Specially Selected Hot Cross Bun Pudding (£4.99, 600g) returns to stores, serving as the perfect Easter spin on the classic bread and butter pudding, available in the original Fruited Bun or sweet Banoffee flavour. Available in stores 30th March.

Aldi’s Easter Desserts are available to pick up in storesfrom 8th March, with the full Easter range on shelves from now until Easter.
