ALDI RESPONDS TO THE RISING HOT HONEY TREND WITH TASTY NEW PRODUCT RANGE 

Dubbed the food trend of 2024, hot honey — a flavour which marries the sweetness of honey with a dash of hot chilli spice — has taken social media by storm, with almost one billion views on TikTok under the hashtag #hothoney¹ (and counting).  

Luckily for shoppers keen to keep up with the latest trends, Aldi has everything from festive party food essentials to every day dinner staples available in the new ‘it’ flavour.  

Aldi’s NEW Specially Selected Hot Honey Pork Belly Bites (£3.99, 350g), perfect for Christmas party food season, are wonderfully tender with a hint of chilli spice. They can be easily popped in the oven or air fryer until they develop a crispy layer for unbelievable texture. Available from 6^th December. 

Another NEW addition for this year is the Specially Selected Greek Feta and Hot Honey Bites (£2.99, 200g). The combination of the crumbly, salty feta and sharp hot honey flavour make them increasingly moreish with each bite. Available from 6^th December. 

Perfect for tearing and sharing or making a delicious lunchtime wrap, Aldi’s Specially Selected Hot Honey Flatbreads (£1.49, 2pk) are made with hand stretched dough complimented with hints of honey, chilli and dried rosemary.  The flatbreads can be topped with pulled pork and pickled cabbage for a mouthwatering wrap packed full of flavour. Available in stores now. 

For those who can’t get enough of Aldi’s beloved range of luxurious hand cooked crisps, the Specially Selected Honey, Chilli and Camembert Crisps (£1.15, 150g) will not disappoint. Sweet, spicy, salty, crunchy, and not forgetting festive due to the hint of creamy camembert, what’s not to like? 

Finally, landing on shelves this festive season is the Sauce Shop x Aldi Spiced Cranberry Hot Honey Sauce (£3.49, 180g). A delicious twist on Sauce Shop’s best-selling Honey Sriracha Drizzle, this spicy concoction blends warm mulled wine spices with sweet honey and tangy cranberry for an irresistible flavour combination. Available in stores now.
