ALDI UNVEILS OKTOBERFEST RANGE INCLUDING BRATWURST STYLE PIGS IN BLANKETS AND BEER FLAVOURED MARINADES FOR JUST 59P

Aldi is bringing the spirit of Bavaria to homes across the nation as the supermarket launches its popular Oktoberfest range from 18^th September.

NEW for this year and set to be popular with shoppers are Aldi’s Oktoberfest Marinades (35g) available for just 59p.Designed to elevate culinary creations, each flavour offers a unique tasting experience:

• Beer Flavour: Surprises with a sweet stout flavour that leaves peppery and umami notes
• Schnitzel: Brings the comforting essence of fried breadcrumbs with mildly aromatic spices and a peppery kick
• Currywurst Style: Delivers an aromatic curry flavour rich with cumin, fenugreek, ginger, onion and garlic
• Bavarian Style: Offers a blend of robust onion and paprika with aromatic spices

These authentic marinades can be brushed onto meats and plant-based alternatives for grilling, roasting, or pan-frying. They also add Bavarian flair to stews or serve as a dipping sauce for chips and pretzels, bringing Oktoberfest to every bite.

Alongside these wunderbar seasonings, Aldi is also welcoming a selection of popular Munich-inspired bites, available from 18^th September.

Among these is Aldi’s German Style Spätzle (£1.49, 500g). A traditional egg pasta that perfectly soaks up rich sauces and complements hearty dishes like schnitzel or goulash.

Also available are Baxters German Style Pickles (£1.99, 600g). These gherkins are selected for their size and picked at their peak for perfect crunchiness, pickled in a tangy vinegar with red pepper, mustard and dill.

For an authentic touch, the Baxters Sauerkraut (£1.89, 480g) offers a crisp texture and piquant taste, perfectly complementing traditional German dishes or adding a tangy kick to any plate.

No Oktoberfest feast is complete without the perfect accompaniments. Shoppers can grab the iconic Giant Pretzels (£0.99, 150g) and Pretzel Sticks (£0.99, 150g), both offering a golden, crunchy bite generously topped with salt.

For the ultimate snack, Aldi’s Specially Selected Hand Cooked Crisps (£1.15, 150g) feature two German-inspired flavours — German Beer and Currywurst — making them the essential accompaniment to an ice-cold brew.

From 25^th September, foodies can pick up Aldi’s Bratwurst Style Pigs in Blankets with Curry Ketchup (£2.99, 280g). These savoury, bacon-wrapped sausages are perfectly seasoned and come with a sweet-spicy curry sauce, offering a tasty flavour experience.

For a hearty main, the Pretzel Crumb Pork Schnitzel with Honey & Mustard Sauce (£3.49, 350g) features two tender pork escalopes in a unique pretzel crumb for an irresistible crunch as well as a sachet of smoky honey and mustard sauce, offering the perfect blend of savoury and sweet. Available from 25^th September.

To complete the Oktoberfest celebration, these culinary delights can be washed down with Aldi’s selection of German beers. Available in stores from 18^th September, Brewdog’s Oktoberfest Lager (£13.99, 12x 330ml) returns to shelves offering vibrant citrus and herbal notes.
