ALDI’S POPULAR GARLIC BREAD CRISPS ARE BACK – AND SHOPPERS ARE CALLING ON IT TO BE ‘PERMANENT FIXTURE’

Aldi’s unique garlic bread crisps are back by popular demand. In a mash up that Peter Kay would be proud of, the nation’s cheapest supermarket has merged two popular foods, garlic bread and crisps, to create a tasty treat.

The Specially Selected Garlic Bread Crinkle Cut Crisps, just £1.09 (150g), which first went on sale last summer, returned to stores this week and shoppers are calling on it to be permanent.

An enthusiastic shopper posted about their return on the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook Group, saying: ‘Glad to see these bad boys back. Middle aisle specialbuy. They are very moorish.’

The post sparked a barrage of replies, such as: ‘I was literally saying I wish this flavour existed the other day’ , ‘These are the best crisps we’ve had for year(s) so tasty 👌’.

One shopper even said: ‘Spotted them in my local Aldi yesterday – bought a stash of them!!! They should definitely be a permanent fixture!! 🤤’

Packed full of flavour, shoppers will be hit with the delicious taste of smoky garlic, whilst experiencing the hearty crunch of Aldi’s premium Specially Selected crinkle cut style crisp. What’s more, the crisps also come in delicious Pizza Margherita and ‘Ndjua Spiced flavours – also both £1.09 (150g).

Aldi’s new range of Italian Flavoured Specially Selected Crinkle Cut Crisps are available in stores now, but shoppers will need to be quick – as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
