Aldi is bringing back the popular product after thousands of bottles flew off shelves following its initial launch last year

Fans of the popular Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur will be delighted to learn that Aldi is bringing back its very own alternative, Loquito Strawberry Cream Tequila – and it costs just £9.99 a bottle (50cl).
Available in stores now, the ready-to-drink delight boasts a delicious blend of sweet strawberry cream flavour with the supermarket’s enticingly rich Loquito tequila – perfect for getting the party started at a Hen Do, or any summer-time celebrations.
What’s more, priced at just £9.99 a bottle, savvy shoppers can bag a sensational saving of £3 compared to Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur:
Full of flavour and sweet on the palate, the returning Loquito Strawberry Cream Tequila can be enjoyed neat, over ice, or as part of this deliciously creamy cocktail:
Strawberry & Raspberry Tequila Martini
Ingredients:
70ml Loquito Strawberry Cream Tequila
25ml Saint Gérmont Vanilla Vodka
20ml summer fruits juice
25g fresh raspberries
25g fresh strawberries
Ice cubes
Raspberries and orange rind to decorate
Method:
Mash the strawberries and raspberries with the summer fruits juice and put the pulp through a strainer (remember to discard seeds). Put the puree to one side.
Put the Loquito Strawberry Cream Tequila and Saint Gérmont Vanilla Vodka in a cocktail shaker with some ice and shake well.
Strain into a coupe glass then swirl over the puree and serve decorated with some raspberries and orange rind.

Also available in stores now, Aldi is cutting prices across its meat range as demand for barbecue favourites is set to surge.
The Which? Best Value Brand of the Year winner forecasts more than one million sausages and nearly one million burgers will be sold, with British Beef Quarter Pounders (4 pack) expected to see a whopping 120% increase in sales and Smash Burgers (4 pack) a 70% uplift, as both drop to £2.89 (from £3.49).
For lighter choices, the British Reduced Fat 5% Burgers (4 pack) and 5% Fat Beef Kebabs (4 pack) will be available for £3.49 (down from £3.99), while a range of Specially Selected Flavoured Burgers(2 pack) will also be reduced to £2.89 (from £3.49). Fans can choose from Caramelised Onion, Extra Mature Cheddar, Jalapeño and Hot Honey.
Steak lovers can also take advantage of new lower prices across premium cuts, with Specially SelectedWagyu Sirloin (approx. 227g) priced at just £8.99 (previously £9.49), Specially Selected Wagyu Ribeye (approx. 227g) at £9.49 (previously £9.99), and Specially Selected Wagyu Fillet (approx. 170g) at £10.99 (previously £11.49).
Additional savings include 21 Day MaturedBritish Rump Steak(approx. 232g) reduced from £4.05 to £3.99, British Sirloin Steak (approx. 195g) from £5.29 to £4.49, and British Ribeye Steak (approx.195g) from £5.39 to £4.59.
To round off the occasion, Aldi’s Costellore Prosecco DOC (75cl) is also reduced to £4.69 (from £5.25), with more than 1.3 million glasses expected to be enjoyed over the long weekend. [1]
