The countdown to England’s first Euro 2024 game is on and for those waking up every morning with Euros fever, Aldi is launching the perfect breakfast treat — NEW Village Bakery Football Crumpets (£1.19, 4 pack). Available in stores from 13th June — just in time for England’s first match against Serbia.

A British staple with a fun twist for England supporters to enjoy with a cuppa before the big game, these quirky crumpets feature a distinctive checkered pattern that resemble a football. But shoppers will need to act quickly to score themselves a pack — as with all Aldi Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

And for those looking to transform this breakfast must have into a half time treat, why not attempt the oh-so-indulgent Cheesy Garlic Crumpet Tear and Share recipe that is ready in less than 15 minutes. Plus, it is only £1.59 per person!

Ingredients (serves 4):
