CARA-MAZING! ALDI LAUNCHES NEW CARAMEL LIQUEUR WHICH TASTES JUST LIKE A BOOZY BISCOFF CUPCAKE!

Aldi is giving shoppers a taste of caramelised sensation as the supermarket introduces its brand-new Infusionist Salted Caramel Cupcake Gin Liqueur for just £8.99!With another bank holiday just around the corner, this latest addition to Aldi’s spirit line up is reminiscent of heavenly Lotus Biscoff cupcakes but in liquid version.

Biscoff is like catnip for caramel lovers. It has taken the nation by storm, with nearly over 791,000 searches online during lockdown[1], and expanding into everything from biscuit spreads to ice cream – not to mention the host of homemade treats being made, from lattes to cupcakes.

Now Aldi has a new addition to its shelves that Biscoff fans are sure to love – a salted caramel cupcake liqueur. With rich and creamy smooth notes of delicious caramel, it’s best served neat or as an indulgent addition to classic cocktails such as an Espresso Martini.  Available in stores and online from 22^nd April. 

If Aldi’s Salted Caramel Gin Liqueur hasn’t tickled taste buds enough, why not try The Infusionist Raspberry Jam Donut Gin Liqueur (£8.99)? Also joining the charmingly nostalgic Infusionist range, it contains all the wonderful yumminess of the popular snack with a fun boozy twist. Its sweet raspberry flavours followed by smooth vanilla notes, make this tipple ideal for Summer sipping.

These new Infusionist spirits are just two of nine spirits joining Aldi’s shelves this Spring as part of the supermarket’s latest spirits festival. Also included in the range are two beautiful brand-new additions to Aldi’s popular Haysmith’s gin range, and the retailer’s most premium gin liqueur yet – complete with 23-carat gold leaf! Shoppers looking for the next big flavour to add to their gin collection or wanting to wow guests with their cocktail making skills, will need to get in there quick – as with all Specialbuys though, once they’re gone, they’re gone!

The Infusionist Peach & Elderflower Glitter Globe Gin Liqueur (£12.99, 70cl)

Indulge on a tasty gin liqueur infused with sweet peach and elderflower, which will not only add that extra hint of pizazz but will save shoppers over 13% compared to M&S’s popular bottle, this bank holiday weekend. Following its success in Aldi Scotland, Eidyn Botanical Gin (£17.99) (pronounced ee-din) will now be available in stores nationwide – and for £2 cheaper than before. Crafted by Edinburgh-based The Old Curiosity Distillery, the base spirit is lovingly blended with botanicals including thyme and lemon balm that are grown, picked and dried by hand, from their Secret Herb Garden. The result? An elegant, premium tipple with fresh citrus notes which give way to the satisfyingly crisp juniper finish, reminiscent of the Garden of Eden. It’s bottled in a striking turquoise and gold labelled decanter, which will no doubt take centre of attention at any garden table this bank holiday.
