CHEESE THE DAY WITH ALDI’S LATEST ADDITIONS TO ITS CARLOS PIZZA RANGE

83% CHEAPER THAN ZIZZI

Pizza nights can hit new heights in September thanks to Aldi’s latest addition to its fakeaway range. The NEW Carlos Sharing Pizza (£2.49) is a colossal sharing pizza, which serves up to four people! Available in two mouth-watering flavours, The Big Cheese (580g) and Triple Pepperoni (600g), they will be in stores from 19^th September.

The delicious pizzas come in at more than £7 cheaper (83%) when compared to a high-street favourite Zizzi. What’s more, with Aldi’s new pizza costing just £2.49, you can buy nearly four whole Carlos pizzas for the price of just one at Zizzi’s.

Cheesy deliciousness doesn’t get much better than this. The Big Cheese is made up of a classic blend of gooey mozzarella, punchy red cheddar and trusty cheddar cheese which sits atop an Italian stone baked base and of course, a rich tomato sauce.

Meat lovers need not fear, because the sharing pizza also comes with a Triple Pepperoni topping. Packing a bit of extra punch, this pizza comes with a spicy tomato sauce on a stone baked base and is topped with succulent slices of smoked pepperoni. Additionally, adding to its popular Carlos range, Aldi’s new Carlos Takeaway Microwave Pizzas will also be available in stores from the 19^th September, and even better, they’re a budget friendly £1.49 and take just four minutes to cook.

The pizzas come on a microwaveable dish that ensures a deliciously crispy pizza with no soggy bottoms in sight. Available in three tasty flavours, shoppers can pick between a Classic Cheese, Peppery Pepperoni or all-American Cheeseburger.

The launch comes as Aldi has seen a +30% rise in sales of its fresh and frozen pizzas over the past month as savvy shoppers enjoy fakeaways at home, and with delivery and takeaway sales dipping 29% year-on-year[1], this new microwave range is expected to be just as popular.

If that’s not enough, the Carlos Takeaway Cheeseburger Fries (£2.49, 400g) make the perfect satisfying side dish, while the Carlos Takeaway Chewy & Gooey Cookies (£1.69, 160g) hit that after dinner sweet spot.
