With Grito de Dolores (Mexico’s Independence Day, 16th September) in sight, Aldi’s latest Mexican-inspired range has everything shoppers need to whip up the ultimate fiesta at home. Available to pre-order online from 5^th September and in-store from 12^th September, this new range will have shoppers shaking their maracas down the aisle – bamboleo, bambolea!

Turn dinner up a notch with Aldi’s Ambiano Quesadilla Maker (£16.99, online only). This handy machine is ‘easy to use and cooks the most amazing quesadillas’ as said by shoppers on Aldi’s website. It makes delicious deep filled Quesadillas in no time – with non-stick coating, an auto thermostat and oil drip tray, simply add the tortilla, load with suitable fillings and press away. Less time cooking means more time partying!

Serve up a summertime refreshment with Aldi’s Ambiano Frozen Drinks Maker (£24.99, online only). Perfect for punches, cocktails, slushes and even iced coffee, this nifty gadget features two ice shaving settings and an easy flow spout to dispense, so fiesta sipping can be enjoyed with ease!

Get into the spirit as Aldi welcomes its first-ever El Toro Tequila (70cl, £16.99). Boasting fruity and herbal notes, this tipple is ideal in a margarita or neat with a slice of lime, transporting shoppers to the ultimate Mexican carnival (to be taken with a pinch of salt, of course).  

Alternatively have a tropical dream with Aldi’s Old Hopking Bag in Box Piña Colada Cocktail (2.25L, £9.99), giving exotic notes of pineapple, coconut and cream. What’s more, it’s the first Piña Colada in a box from any UK supermarket! Those looking for a berry good time, can pick Old Hopking Bag in Box Strawberry Daiquiri (2.25L, £9.99), boasting sub-lime notes of fresh strawberry and lime. Both tipples are ideal for sharing!

Create a fiesta of flavours with Aldi’s range of Mexican-inspired foods including the Nacho Kit (£1.59), which is 61% cheaper than the Old El Paso version at Waitrose and is available in Guacamole, Cheesy and Spicy Nacho flavours – ideal for sharing with friends and family!  

Or opt for the Mexican Street Food Kits (£1.99) that are available in Chilli & Lime andSmokey Chipotle for the ultimate taco of dreams. Up the game with the Soft Taco Kit (£2.49) or add some extra bite with the Crunchy Taco Kit (£1.59). Those looking to not get their hands dirty can dive in with the Baked Tortilla Bowl Kit (£1.69), available in Chilli and BBQ.
