Aldi launches latest camping and outdoor range, as 83% of Brits plan a UK holiday this year
With uncertainty remaining around overseas travel, bookings of campsites have surged by a massive 500% as Brits embrace staycations and relish the chance to experience the beauty of Britain – often at cheaper prices than travelling abroad. Whether embarking on a staycation or a festival, shoppers can find everything they need to channel their inner camper with Aldi’s Get Outdoors range, available to purchase online from 23rd May and in-stores on the 27th May.
Aldi’s Dome Tent (£34.99, available online from 13th June and in-store from 17th June) – is perfect for couples or small families and features a special coating which reduces light exposure, so avid campers can sleep in if they want to. What’s more, the tent is equipped with a large awning, a small storage area and a quick pitch system for a fast, and easy set up. Pair it with the Ultra Light Camping Chairs (£17.99) and throw in the Camping Accessory Kit (£8.99), which has everything needed for pitching up in the perfect spot, including a rubber mallet, ground pegs and ropes – all in one nifty bag!
Campers can rustle up delicious meals with the 2 in 1 Grill & Firepit (£229.99, Online Only), equipped with a grill plate and wok for tasty meals. This handy grill has different grill zones for cooking up delicious sides at the same time! Plus a grill lifter, BBQ spatula and BBQ tongs are included. Throw in the Stainless Steel Lunchbox (£4.99) and Thermal Camping Flask (£5.99) for those tasty meals on the go.
Complete the campsite with the Folding Camping Table (£19.99), which is versatile and sturdy enough for a large group, with three adjustable height positions. It is perfect for camping, but can also be used for garden parties! Complete with the 12 LED Lantern (£2.99) to add some mood lighting to the evening.
Offering practicality and some much-needed electricity, the Solar Backpack (£24.99 online only) is ideal for those embarking on longer trips without access to electricity and is perfect for keeping smaller items charged. Hikers and campers can relax in the knowledge that phones won’t run out of juice and will be at the ready for any emergency, and cameras will be primed and ready to capture the breath-taking sights.
