Aldi launches latest camping and outdoor range, as 83% of Brits plan a UK holiday this year

With uncertainty remaining around overseas travel, bookings of campsites have surged by a massive 500%[1] as Brits embrace staycations and relish the chance to experience the beauty of Britain – often at cheaper prices than travelling abroad[2]. Whether embarking on a staycation or a festival, shoppers can find everything they need to channel their inner camper with Aldi’s Get Outdoors range, available to purchase online from 23^rd May and in-stores on the 27^th May.

Aldi’s Dome Tent (£34.99, available online from 13^th June and in-store from 17^th June) – is perfect for couples or small families and features a special coating which reduces light exposure, so avid campers can sleep in if they want to. What’s more, the tent is equipped with a large awning, a small storage area and a quick pitch system for a fast, and easy set up. Pair it with the Ultra Light Camping Chairs (£17.99) and throw in the Camping Accessory Kit (£8.99), which has everything needed for pitching up in the perfect spot, including a rubber mallet, ground pegs and ropes – all in one nifty bag!

Campers can rustle up delicious meals with the 2 in 1 Grill & Firepit (£229.99, Online Only), equipped with a grill plate and wok for tasty meals. This handy grill has different grill zones for cooking up delicious sides at the same time! Plus a grill lifter, BBQ spatula and BBQ tongs are included.
