ALDI LAUNCHES PILSNER BEER AND BRATWURST SAUSAGE FLAVOURED CRISPS TO CELEBRATE OKTOBERFEST 

  • Supermarket is launching German-themed treats such as Bratwurst and Currywurst flavoured crisps, Giant Pretzels and Kraut as part of a dedicated Oktoberfest range  
  • Available in stores from 26th September 

Aldi is launching Specially Selected German Pilsner Beer Hand Cooked Crisps (£1.15, 150g) as part of a brand-new range dedicated to Bavarian beer festival, Oktoberfest.  

Combining two shopper favourites, crisps and beer, the limited-edition launch will land in stores nationwide from 26th September.  

But the German-themed crisps don’t stop there. Sausage fans will be delighted to learn that Aldi is also introducing Specially Selected Bratwurst Sausage Hand Cooked Crisps (£1.15, 150g) and Specially Selected Currywurst Sausage Hand Cooked Crisps (£1.15, 150g) to shelves — the perfect accompaniment to an ice-cold beer.  

Next up in the Oktoberfest line-up is the generously sized Giant Pretzels (99p, 150g) and equally delicious Pretzel Sticks (99p, 150g) — perfect for sharing with friends and family.  

Those looking to fully embrace the German tradition can top off homemade bratwursts with Baxter’s Kraut (£1.89, 480g). Packed full of crunchy, salted and fermented cabbage, this tangy crunchy side dish is perfect with sausages, salads and sandwiches. 

Why not wash it down with Aldi’s selection of German beer? Available in stores from 26th September, Brewdog’s Oktoberfest Lager (£13.99, 12 x 330ml) returns to shelves after exclusively launching in stores last year, offering vibrant citrus and herbal notes.  

For those that prefer bottled tipples, Aldi is also welcoming the following pilsners to stores this ‘Aldifest’:  

  • Erdinger Oktoberfest (£1.99, 500ml) 
  • Erdinger Weissbier (£1.69, 500ml) 
  • Benediktiner Weissbier (£2.49, 500ml) 
  • Spaten (£1.99, 500ml) 
  • Paulaner Oktoberfest (£2.49, 500ml) 
  • Benediktiner Hell (£2.49, 500ml) 

Those looking for a non-alcoholic option can pick up the supermarket’s award-winning Rheinbacher 0% Pilsner (£2.99, 6 x 330ml) after recently being named ‘Country Winner’ at this year’s World Beer Awards1.   

Aldi’s Oktoberfest range is available in stores nationwide from 26th September.

ALDI LAUNCHES WINTER PET MUST HAVES

As shorter days and darker evenings approach, Aldi is launching a collection of dog walk essentials designed to ensure both late-night walkers and their furry friends stay visible. Aldi is answering pet owners’ need for practical and affordable solutions that make winter outings enjoyable and safe. Available in stores from 23rd October, winter walkers must be quick because as with all Aldi Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!

For an all over glow, the LED Dog Harness (£12.99, sizes S-L) is the perfect option. With a tri-light function including rapid flashing, flashing and constant light, USB charger, it’s available in three colourway options, black, blue or orange. A slip-on style harness with adjustable straps means it is the perfect fit for every pup.

To enhance visibility even further, dog owners can try the LED Fabric Dog Collar (£4.99, sizes S-L) available in grey or red, while the LED Rubber Ring Dog Collar (£4.99, size universal L) lights up in a choice of blue, green, orange or pink. Both collars offer two light functions — flashing mode and continuous light.
