POCKET AND PLANET FRIENDLY – ALDI LAUNCHES NEW TREE PLANTING INITIATIVE

• Aldi is launching a new reusable bottle that will see a tree planted for each one purchased, in partnership with Root7 and the Eden Reforestation Project
• At just £7.99, shoppers can even save themselves 73% compared to similar products

Not only is Aldi’s new ‘buy one, plant one’ BOPO Bottle (£7.99) kind to wallets, saving customers over £22, it’s also kind to the planet. Available to order online from 20^th June and in stores from 24^th June, the initiative will see a tree planted with each BOPO Bottle purchased, in a bid to help tackle the rise of carbon emissions.

Every time a Buy One Plant One Bottle is sold, Aldi will plant a tree with the Eden Reforestation Project to help restore healthy forests and reduce extreme poverty around the world by employing local people to plant trees in areas of deforestation.

The 500ml, stainless steel bottle is double walled to maintain the temperature of hot or cold drinks, with an added internal copper coated layer for added performance and insulation, allowing shoppers to keep drinks cold for 30 hours or hot for 20 hours. Available in a variety of styles, including blue stardust, cookie crumble and mint choc chip, see just how customers can save below:
