Aldi is popping the cork on bumper sales of its award-winning fizz ahead of the long Easter weekend.

Which? Cheapest Supermarket of the Year champion[1], Aldi, saw sales of its Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC jump by over 80% compared to last Easter, and predicts it will sell three million glasses of Aldi fizz in the run-up and during long weekend celebrations – that’s half a million bottles!

The Italian sparkler – currently on offer for just £4.49 (75cl), down from £5.75 – is the supermarket’s most popular Prosecco, with delicious notes of peach, apple, pear and lemon zest, it’s perfect on its own or in a fruity bellini.

Making the ideal companion to any Easter occasion, shoppers better hop to it if they want to grab a bottle, as the tipple is expected to be a cracking sell-out once again!

Aldi’s Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC is available in stores at the reduced price of £4.49 now until 3rd April, while stocks last.
