THREE OF ALDI’S OWN-LABEL GINS NAMED AMONGST BEST IN THE WORLD

• The supermarket’s Haysmith’s brand takes home three golds at this year’s Spirits Business Global Gin Masters
• Shoppers can also save an incredible 43% compared to premium brands

Aldi’s own-label brand Haysmith’s scored a hat-trick of wins, having been named amongst the best globally at the Spirits Business Global Gin Masters.

The supermarket’s Haysmith’s London Dry Gin (£15.99, 70cl) and Haysmith’s Seville Orange & Persian Lime Gin (£14.99, 70cl) took home Gold, as well as the Haysmith’s Premium Sloe Gin (£14.99, 70cl) which returns to shelves this September.

Aldi’s Haysmith’s London Dry Gin beata host of pricier competitors in the Standard Gin category, including premium brand Jan II, which comes in at £28.At just £15.99 a bottle, shoppers can save over 43% opting for Aldi’s award winner – that’s some Great British sipping at purse-friendly prices!

The nation’s cheapest supermarket also took home two silvers for its Haysmith’s Raspberry & Redcurrant Pink Gin (£14.99, 70cl) and Haysmith’s Rhubarb & Ginger Gin (£14.99, 70cl).

Adding to Aldi’s ever-growing trophy cabinet, the retailer’s gin range has already been awarded over 25 medals within drinks competitions in the last 12 months.

As part of the renowned Spirits Business Global Masters series, The Gin Masters are a drive to find and reward the finest gin brands on a world stage. Chaired by The Spirits Business and a panel of leading spirits specialists, the spirits were judged in a blind tasting, to discover the Gin Masters of 2024.
